Disney’s new family destination resort in Hawaii, aptly named Aulani Disney Resort & Spa, is a world-class beachfront resort located in the picturesque Ko Olina in O`ahu. It is 17 miles from the Honolulu Airport, and is located within the Ko Olina Resort & Marina, which is a master-planned active family resort community.
Aulani literally means "the place that speaks for the great ones" or "the place that speaks with deep messages," and it reflects Disney’s commitment to celebrate the great culture and traditions of Hawaii's magnificent islands.
The Aulani Resort, which will feature 360 hotel rooms and 481 two-bedroom Disney Vacation Club villas, 4 restaurants and 2 lounges, has been designed by Walt Disney Imagineers in cooperation with local Hawaiians to ensure an authentic Hawaiian experience for guests.
Aulani, which sits on a 21-acre property, will boast of four man-made lagoons on a white sandy beach. Guests will be within walking distance to nearby restaurants and shopping. The marina offers boating, scuba diving, fishing, whale watching tours and other water activities. Other resort amenities include a spa & fitness center, kids club, conference center, storytelling fire pit and a wedding chapel making Aulani a perfect destination for every member of the family.
