Dragon Reef is a popular dive spot located in La Perouse, South West Maui in Hawaii. Its main feature is a lava ridge which looks like the arching back of a dragon. White silver dollar-sized leather corals cover the arch like scales. A rock formation shaped like a head with an mouth open completes the dragon form at the end of the arch.
The depth of the Dragon Reef ranges from 25 to 80 feet, making it ideal venue for intermediate to advanced divers. The site boasts of a wide variety of interesting reef fish, sea creatures, lava formations and corals.
